Welcome to the new web-site for the work of the Council for work with Children and Young People (CCYP) which incorporates the Exeter Diocesan Board of Education. The Council is called to share the Good News with children and young people.  In following that calling, the Council aims:

· To express the love of God to all children and young people

· To encourage them to grow in faith and to develop their God given gifts and talents

· To develop and promote best practice in parishes, mission communities, schools and colleges.

The Council is chaired by the Bishop of Plymouth, the Right Reverend John Ford; and the team are supported by a newly formed Council of members representing a wide range of expertise across the whole range of work undertaken by the CCYP team. Click here for more information on the work of the Council and here for current membership of the Council.

The CCYP is led by Alyson Sheldrake, Director of Education, Youth and Children’s Work and the team is based at the Old Deanery, Exeter.
